Ny bok om Svensk Smyckeskonst. New book on Contemporary Swedish Art Jewellery.

Jag har äran att få vara med i Inger Wästberg nya bok Contemporary Swedish Art Jewellery. Boken släpps den 16e oktober och ges ut på Arvinius+Orfeus förlag.  

Boken består av en presentation av 31 svenska smyckekonstnärer från 1990-talet till i dag med en inledning av Inger Wästberg och ett förord ​​av David Revere Mc Fadden.

I have the honor to be part of in Inger Wästberg new book Contemporary Swedish Art Jewellery. It is released on 16th October and is published in Arvinius + Orpheus publishers. 

The book consists of a presentation of 31 Swedish jewellery artists from 1990s to today with an introduction by Inger Wästberg and a foreword by David Revere Mc Fadden.

Armbandet är av silver och läder och innehåller en spegel. The bracelet is made ​​of silver and leather and contains a mirror.

Boken inkluderar mitt armband "Vackra män". 

Kvinnor betraktas som ojeckt, vi förväntas smycka oss för att bli sedda, medan män förväntas vara subjekt, den som ser, inte den som blir sedd. Vore det inte bättre om vi alla kunde få vara både objekt och subjekt? Om vi var fria att röra oss som vi ville? Jag unnar män att bli sedda som vackra!

The book includes my bracelet "Beautiful men".   

Women are treated as ojeckts, we are expected to adorn ourselves to be seen, while men are expected to be the subject, the one who sees, not the one that gets noticed. Would not it be better if we could all get to be both the object and subject? If we were free to move as we wanted? I do not begrudge men to be seen as beautiful!
